PUTRAJAYA: The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has set up a task force to probe the two deaths in custody that happened late last month.
EAIC secretary and chief executive Nor Afizah Hanum Mokhtar said the task force will meet on June 11 to look into all possible angles surrounding the deaths of N Dhamendran in Kuala Lumpur on May 21 and R Jamesh Ramesh in Penang on May 26.
"We want the investigation to be completed as soon as possible. If we can do it in two weeks, then we will do it in two weeks.
"But what we are most interested in is justice, and as the saying goes, justice hurried is justice denied," she said when asked if there is a deadline for the task force to complete its probe.
