BUTTERWORTH: State Immigration Department enforcement officer s have detained 67 foreign nationals when they raided two construction sites. Director Hasbullah Abd Rashid said 53 Myanmar nationals, 10 Bangla - deshis and four Indonesians, aged between 18 and 45, had been sent to the Juru Detention Centre to facilitate investigations. They were nabbed for not having valid documents. The first raid was conducted at a construction site in Bayan Lepas and the other was at Sungai Tiram, Hasbul-lah told a press conference at the State Immi-gration Department in Seberang Jay a near here yesterday. “Employers from both the construction sites will be called in for their statements to be recorded. â€He said the raids started at 11pm on Tuesday and ended at 3am yesterday.
