KUALA LUMPUR: There is no more VX nerve agent in the country, says Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic).
The Inspector-General of Police said police investigations have yielded no evidence of VX.
"We will know if there is," he told a press conference after the 210th Police Day celebration on Saturday.
On the hunt for remaining suspects, including a VIP, in Kim Jong-nam's murder, Khalid said police have made progress in the investigation but did not elaborate.
"We believe they are still there and we will wait.
"We will follow and not breach any rules, regulations and agreed protocols," he said.
The three men are Air Koryo personnel Kim Uk-il, Embassy second secretary Hyon Kwang-song and Ri Ji-u, 30, who is also known as James.
Jong-nam was attacked at KLIA2 on Feb 13 after two women smeared a chemical, identified as VX nerve agent, on his face.
Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong and Indonesian Siti Aisyah have been charged with the murder.
