KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman will announce eight key performance indicators (KPIs) to ten police district chiefs at Eastern Sabah Security zone (Esszone) areas to boost the security.

"Security force involved will have something to do every week after the briefing takes place after Raya Aidilfitri,"he said during handing over of Raya cookies to police at headquarters here.

Among the measure include to do is to check the omnipresent at resorts, to identify illegal entry points and hotspots of illegal immigrants, to work with local authority and the fishermen associations.

Jalaluddin described the KPIs would ensure the effectiveness of enforcement and advised other police chiefs to take the approach to curb crime in other districts.

At present, dialogue had been held with fishermen at Kudat and Tawau districts on the curfew enforcement.
