KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 18 -- The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) today announced the appointment of Norhayati Ahmad as its chief executive officer and secretary, effective from Monday.
EAIC chairman Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan said that prior to this, Norhayati had held the position of Deputy Commissioner of Law Revision and Law Reform Division, Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC), Putrajaya since 2017.
He said that Norhayati had also served as the chairman at the Housing and Strata Management Tribunal, Ministry of Housing and Local Government (2015 to 2017) and deputy director-general at the Judicial and Legal Training Institute (2014 to 2015).
“Norhayati replaces Mohamad Onn Abdul Aziz who is now serving at the AGC since May 2.
“EAIC wishes to congratulate her and is confident that this appointment will further strengthen EAIC's efforts and commitment in upholding integrity among enforcement agencies under EAIC,†he said in a statement today.
