PORT DICKSON -- The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has called on the community to the eyes and ears of the agency if they have information on any misconduct involving enforcement personnel and agencies.
EAIC chairman Datuk A. Aziz A. Rahim said many people were confused with the role of the EAIC as there were other agencies with similar core functions but EAIC was the commission to be referred to if there were complaints regarding enforcement agencies or personnel.
“Hence today’s ‘Jejak Mesra EAIC’ programme is to introduce EAIC to the public, so that they have confidence in us as the main channel to lodge complaints and raise public awareness on their responsibility to report any misconduct.
He was speaking at a media conference after the Port Dickson Jejak Mesra EAIC programme here today.
Also present were Port Dickson MP Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, Sri Tanjung assemblyman M. Ravi and EAIC operations director Datuk Muhammad Bukhari Ab. Hamid.
Apart from accessing the EAIC website to lodge complaints, the public could also report on misconduct on the EAIC’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter accounts while complains via mail were also welcomed, added A. Aziz.
